It is with a heavy heart that we share that Brett and Angelina Whiting’s newborn son, Asher, is with Jesus.  Please keep Brett and Angelina, and Michele and Tim Zona (grandparents) in your prayers.  Please also pray for continued healing for Angelina, as she is still hospitalized.  Michele asked that we share that they are abundantly grateful for the love, support, and practical care being offered.  At this time, the best way that we as a church can love and support the family is to pray and give them space to grieve.

Toddlers (ages 2-4) and their parents/caregivers are invited to join us for a Play Through the Bible group. During the summer months, we meet from 10 -11 am, in the church school building. Play Through the Bible sessions include an age-appropriate Bible lesson, snack, and craft. Parents/caregivers are expected to stay with their toddler for the whole time. Our next Nourishing Hearts cooking lessons will be held at the end of August. This month, we are focusing on how to easily add flavor to any dish.
The lessons are FREE and there will be FREE childcare provided by young ladies from our church.
There are two dates available:
Saturday August 23rd 10 am - 12 pm
OR
Monday August 25th 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

There will be a group of people gathering for prayer at 10:30 am Saturday morning at the church. Please join us if you are able.

Thank you to everyone who prayed and contributed to our mission trip in the DR.  The foundation has 50 kids from their community who participate in their weekly tutoring program (Saturday) and Kids Church (Sunday). In the DR, families need to provide the school uniforms and school supplies to attend school.  If you would like to help, you can contribute online to the Special Collection fund or write Special Collection in the memo section of your check or offering envelope.

All Church Wednesday Nights at 7:00 PM.  We have classes for Preschool through Adults and serve pizza in the school building at 6:45.

Our Men’s Group meets on Tuesday nights at 7:00 PM in the church basement.  The group is studying the book of Mark. All men are welcome to join.  If you have any questions or want additional information, please contact Mike Kleinschmidt at mkleinschmidt@churchrefuge.com.

Our Moms Fellowship & Play group meets every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month, from 10-12 in the school building gymnasium.  The Moms will be walking through the book "Risen Motherhood" and fellowshipping together while their children play.  Who is invited?  All moms and their kids!  We are also looking for volunteers to help with childcare.
