Save the Date: VBS

We are excited to announce that our VBS, Rainforest Falls: Exploring the Nature of God, will be held June 8 – June 12, 2026. Registration is open for Volunteers and Participants. Please reach out to Miss Michele at mzona@churchrefuge.com if you have any questions or need additional information.

Meals Ministry Opportunity

We are excited to announce the birth of Pastor Michael and Jess's first baby, Asa Paul Kleinschmidt. Please consider signing up to provide a meal or gift card here.

All Church Wednesday Nights

We have classes for Preschool through Adults and serve pizza in the school building at 6:45.

Wednesday Night Adult Class

J. Warner Wallace, a cold case detective, uses his unique skills and technique in examining a murder case and then takes those same skills and uses them to examine the impact of Jesus on our world Amazon.com : person of interest book and study guide by j warner wallace.

Join us on Wednesday nights for this 10-week study. We will watch a short video and discuss Jesus' impact on that topic. No pressure to have to get the book or the study guide, you are welcome to just come and hang out with us as we discuss our Savior's impact on history. But the more you put in, the more you get out. BOLD Ladies Lunch

Baptism

We will have a time for believers’ baptism on March 8th. If you have never been baptized and would like to learn more about what it is and why as Christians it is important, please email me at dhertzler@churchrefuge.com.

Children's Easter Performance

Our preschool and elementary children will be performing "Celebration" during our 11am Easter Sunday service on April 5th. Practices for this performance have begun on Sunday mornings during their class. We are sharing the video link for the song and movements! Please use this to help your child practice and get comfortable with the routine at home. Please refer any questions to Denise Fischer at 724-374-8067

Boutique Clothing & Food Giveaway Volunteers Needed

Join us on March 28 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM for our free food and clothing distribution. If you are available to help on the day of the event, please contact Amber Hooke at 724-433-7004. Bible Studies

Men's Group

Our Men’s Group meets on Tuesday nights at 7:00 PM in the church basement. The group will resume on January 6 and will be studying Ezra/Nehemiah. All men are welcome to join. If you have any questions or want additional information, please contact Pastor Michael at mkleinschmidt@churchrefuge.com.

Young Adult Women's Bible Study

Our Young Adult Women’s bible study meets on Thursday nights from 6:45 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Sanderson’s home, 13500 Lincoln Way, N Huntingdon, PA 15642. The group is going through the "She Reads Truth" study on Exodus. Who is invited? All young adult women in their 20's & 30's (single, married & young moms) Questions? Patty Sanderson 724-396-1809

Women's Bible Study - Online

Our online bible study meets on Tuesday nights from 7:00 – 8:30 PM. The group will be going through The Book of Philippians by Jo Saxton. Don't hesitate to get in touch with Sue Scimio at 724-216-2884 or Leslie House at 412-848-3647.

Women's Bible Study

Our women’s group meets on Thursday mornings from 9:30 – 11:00 AM in the church basement. The group will resume on January 22 and will study In View of God's Mercies The Gift of the Gospel of Romans. Participants should purchase the study in advance, but no work is required before the first session. All women are welcome. Please contact Kim Hidalgo at 724-493-0628 if you have any questions.

Our boutique has been growing and reaching more people. We have also been blessed with increasing donations. As a result, we need additional volunteers. We have spots to fill in November. Toddler Play Through the Bible

Toddlers (ages 2-4) and their parents/caregivers are invited to join us for a Play Through the Bible group. We meet monthly, from 12:30-1:30 pm, in the church school building. Play Through the Bible sessions include an age-appropriate Bible lesson, snack, and craft. Parents/caregivers are expected to stay with their toddler for the whole time. Moms Fellowship & Play Group

Our Moms Fellowship & Play group meets every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month, from 10-12 in the school building gymnasium. The Moms will be walking through the book "In the Trenches" and fellowshipping together while their children play. Who is invited? All moms and their kids!
